What is included in the Sugar Cove Academy Kit?
The Sugaring 101 kit includes:
- 35 oz. Tub of standard sugar paste
- 35 oz Tub of soft sugar past
- Sugar warmer
- 1 box of nitrile gloves
- Dusting powder
- Soothing oil
What do I wear to class?
Wear comfortable clothes that will not get in the way of working. Gloves will be used, so no bulky jewelry should be worn. Sugaring can be messy at times but if any sugar does get on your clothing, it is easily removed with warm water. Hair should be pulled back and out of the way during hands-on portions of class. If you have very long nails, false tips, learning to sugar can be more challenging.
Can I purchase an extra kit?
Yes you can purchase a kit at our training facility the day of your course.
I purchased a course that does not have an exact date listed. When will I find out the date/time of the course?
We will contact you to set up the date and time.
I need help finding models. Do you have models available for me to use?
We can provide models for you for an additional fee of $25 per model. If you want to use our models, let us know a week before the course is scheduled.
Can I purchase a sugaring kit even if I don't enroll in a class?
Yes. You may order a kit with proof of Cosmetology or Esthetician license.
Can I purchase sugar?
Yes, you can view all of our sugaring supplies at our training facility.
Can I take a course if I am not licensed?
Yes, but you do need proof of enrollment in a Cosmetology or Esthetics School.

Can I bring my own supplies to any course?
Yes, you may bring your own supplies to any course as long as you have all the items listed in the course description. You may purchase additional supplies the day of your course if needed.
Can I get a refund if I don't meet the requirements but I already purchased a course?
